Afrobeats star, Tobi Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has hit half a billion streams in the popular music streaming app, Boomplay.
To celebrate the milestone, Boomplay presented a plaque to the artiste, as seen in pictures shared on its Instagram page on Monday.
The caption read, “It’s only right he gets his flowers for making us #BUGA this year! KING VADO @KizzDaniel receives his Golden Club Plaque for hitting 500,000,000 total streams on Boomplay, and it’s a sight to behold. Keep streaming all his hits.”
This comes days after the singer hit his first 100 million views on YouTube with his hit song, ‘Buga’.
Since the release of the song, ‘Buga’, in May 2022, the song has caught the attention of both young and older demographics, as it was listed as the number one song in this year’s google search by Nigerians.
Kizz Daniel also made Nigerians proud when he thrilled the crowd at the World Cup Fans Festival in Qatar last month.
Singing his hit song ‘Buga’, the excited crowd could be seen dancing and screaming in the video posted on social media.
The performance was a dream come true for the singer as he once tweeted in June about his wish to perform at the World Cup.
Kizz Daniel has earned his mark in the industry as a viral hit maker.
In October, Kizz Daniel released yet another hit track “Odo” (Cough) which is currently a sensation on the Internet.
