Damilola was reported missing on September 4, 2024.
According to sources, the suspect kidnapped Damilola and took her to an uncompleted building.
After demanding and receiving a ransom of N400,000 from her family, he decided to kill her and removed her vital organs for ritual purposes.
After the tragic incident, the suspect reportedly contacted her family again, demanding an additional N10 million.
However, he was tracked down by police to his location and got arrested.
The suspect allegedly confessed to acting alone and led authorities to the shallow grave where he buried her remains, stating that he took her life because she had seen his face after the abduction.
