LAGOS – Gracious Akintayo, former President of Christian Press Association of Nigeria (CPAN) and current President, Nigeria Christian Media Forum (NCMF), has been appointed Managing Editor, by the Management Board of Patriots Africa Media Communications Ltd., publishers of Lagos-based, KORRECT News.
The appointment, according to the group, is due to the repositioning and repackaging of the medium for excellent information dissemination to enable it be a key player and innovative leader in global journalism practice with vibrancy, accuracy, and accessible delivery that enlighten with incisive reportage that connects the world.

He emphasised that KORRECT News is repackaging and repositioning as an online and print news medium that would dive deep into issues of human interest, societal development and consumer friendly to inform and reform readers, advertisers, and patrons.

Madubufo said by the appointment, Mr. Akintayo, a reputable and experienced journalist spanning many years as the new Editor, was expected to bring in his wealth of experience, expertise, goodwill and social equity to manage the editorial team of KORRECT News.
The appointment, he disclosed, followed the management board’s resolve to restructure in fulfillment of its vision and enhance robust global media practice as a responsible and genuine information dissemination publication in Nigeria.
Mr. Akintayo, who had worked in various capacities as a reporter, writer, correspondent and Editor at various media organisations, is said to be a strategist and development journalist.
He is a member of some local and international professional organisations, including Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Journalists for Christ (JFC), Magazine Training Institute (MTI), USA, among others.
Amb. Madubufo stated that Akintayo’s appointment takes effect from November, 2024 and that he is expected to develop the structure of effective editorial management for the publication in achieving its goals.
