LAGOS – One of the students of Lagos Aviation Academy (LAA), an aviation training organisation has emerged as the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) ‘Best Performer in Nigeria’ in the IATA Foundation in travel and tourism exam for July 2024.
This achievement marks the fifth time that the academy has produced the top-performing student, solidifying its position as a centre of excellence in aviation training, a statement by Mrs. temilade Adu, the Spokesperson for Finchglow Holdings Group has said.
The statement quoted Mr. Bolaji Durojaiye, Head of School, LAA, as expressing delight with the student’s performance.
Durajaiye expressed that the accomplishment showed the academy’s commitment to delivering world-class training and dedication to shaping the future of aviation both in Nigeria and beyond.
“Our student’s achievement is not only a reflection of their hard work and dedication, but also a testament to the leadership and innovation that Lagos Aviation Academy brings to the industry,” he added.

Also commenting, Oluwafisayomi Layo-Olayemi, IATA Best Performer 2024, described LAA as good school with the best instructors who are always ready to support their students.
She expressed that the support she received from the school during her training made a difference in her performance.

The IATA Best Performer award recognises outstanding performance in aviation training, and Lagos Aviation Academy’s consistent dominance is a reflection of its exceptional faculty, cutting-edge facilities, and rigorous training programs.
