The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Dr. Ifalade Oyekan has warned corp officers of the agency from abusing the use of their kits and position.
The General Manager said this while addressing corps officers who just received additional operational kits at the the Safety Arena Complex, Bolade Oshodi, to enhance their visibility and personal safety while on duty across the State.
Ifalade pointed out that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is doing everything to ensure his vision of a “Greater Lagos” is manifested in all key areas in the lives of the residents of Lagos State, including the services provided by the officers of the corps of the agency.
Oyekan warned the officers to be mindful of the standard operating procedures in their deployment of the kits provided by the governor, stating that “the purpose of the additional kits is one of the governor’s several efforts at protecting you while on duty and the kits are to be protected as you ensure the safety of the governor’s people, Lagos residents and visitors.”
Oyekan also used the opportunity to assure Lagosians of a safer and more secured Lagos as the nation moves towards the 2023 general elections.
