Veteran Comedian, Ali Baba, expressed that men with insecurities should be the ones considering leaving their jobs instead of pressuring their partners who earn more than them.
He made this statement in response to the viral story of a man who compelled his wife to resign because she had a higher income.
While casting doubt on the credibility of the narrative, the comedian highlighted that the self-esteem of such men was linked to financial status, and they felt inadequate when confronted with successful women.

In a post on his Instagram page, he mentioned that the man should be the one to quit his job instead of demanding his wife to quit.
He said, “Who are these women falling for such lies? If you earn more than your man, let him quit his job. Nonsense! Who are these lazy bumcums peddling these stupid narratives?
“If you are earning N10 million a month, and your husband earns N1.5 million, how does it make sense to resign? That means the man’s confidence is financially driven and anchored. Insecurities my foot.
“So, Stedman will tell Oprah Winfrey to resign. Who is bringing up these men with self-esteem that is defined by financial status? Instead of being challenged and driven to upgrade your financial status.”
