Ikeja Electric Plc, an electricity distribution company, has approved 19 additional Band A feeders for its network.
The expansion comes after Ikeja Electric announced a decrease in electricity tariffs for customers on Band A feeders.
The management disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying that the downward tariff will be effective on Monday, May 6, 2024.

“Premised on our demonstrated ability to consistently provide a minimum of 20 hours of daily availability during a performance evaluation period monitored by the regulator,” Ikeja Electric said in a statement on Monday.
“We are pleased to announce that we have obtained approval to add 19 additional Band A feeders to our network.”
The newly approved feeders will serve a variety of areas across Ikeja Electric’s coverage area, including:
