Manchester City secured a commanding 4-0 win over Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday in a crucial Champions League group stage match.
City wasted no time establishing control, with their first goal coming in the 8th minute.
Ilkay Gundogan’s deflected shot from the edge of the box left Slovan goalkeeper Dominik Takac stranded, giving the visitors an early lead.
Just seven minutes later, Phil Foden doubled City’s advantage, firing a low strike into the bottom corner after latching onto a precise pass inside the penalty area.

Despite multiple chances for star striker Erling Haaland, including a saved effort in the 17th minute and a narrowly missed header in the 53rd, the Norwegian eventually found the back of the net in the 58th minute. Released by Rico Lewis, Haaland broke free and calmly finished past Takac to make it 3-0.
City sealed the win in the 74th minute when James McAtee, after a perfectly lofted pass from Foden, struck a brilliant shot into the bottom right corner, extending the lead to 4-0.
While Slovan Bratislava had an early chance through Marko Tolic in the second minute, they struggled to break through City’s defense and were ultimately outclassed throughout the game.
With this emphatic win, Manchester City now sit in a strong position to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
