The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was on Monday honoured with the title of Dakari Birnin Gwari, (Fearless Warrior of Birnin Gwari) by the Emir of Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State, HRH Alhaji Zubairu Jibril MaiGwari II.
The award was conferred on Tinubu during his visit to the traditional ruler ahead of the APC APC North-West Zonal Rally holding today.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai, APC governors and other party leaders accompanied Tinubu on the visit to Birnin-Gwari, arguably the area most affected by banditry in Kaduna State.
The APC leaders were received by the Emir of Birnin Gwari – HRH Alhaji Zubairu Jibril MaiGwari II.
The APC Presidential 2023 Presidential Candidate, reiterated his commitment to improving the situation in Birnin Gwari,the North-West and in all areas of Nigeria.
In attendance were his running mate and Vice Presidential Candidate – Senator Kashim Shettima, Governor Atiku Bagudu, Governor Abdullahi Banduje , Governor Abubakar Badaru,Governor Simon Bako Lalong and the APC 2023 Governorship candidate for Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani.
