Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang has approved the appointment of Mrs. Olivia Dazyam as the Acting Executive Chairman, Gender and Equal Opportunities Commission.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Samuel Jatau, and made available to Daily Sun on Wednesday, said that until her appointment Dazyam was the Special Adviser to the Governor on Gender and also doubled as the Acting Executive Chairman of the Commission.
The statement said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
