My EP warns against toxic people, says Omo Eqo

Singer and entrepreneur, Olakunle Ajiboye, aka King Omo Eqo, has released an Extended Play album titled, Bo Lo Ya.

In a statement sent to Sunday Scoop, he noted that he makes music that not only moves bodies but also stirs souls.

He added that the EP’s title track, which can be translated to mean “move away from the road if you’re not going anywhere’, embodies his philosophy of overcoming negativity and staying true to oneself amidst life’s challenges.

He also stated that the four-track EP is a sonic journey through his experiences, with each song offering a unique perspective.

According to him, Bo Lo Ya is a rallying cry to shed toxic influences and stay focused on one’s path; Superhuman is an empowering anthem celebrating inner strength and resilience; Green Light is a vibrant, uplifting track embracing hope and new beginnings; while I Be King is a bold declaration of self-confidence and determination.

The singer added, “With this album, I am to cement my position as a trailblazer in the afrofusion genre, pushing boundaries and inspiring listeners to embrace their true selves.”
