Niagara Falls horror: Mother leaps to death with two young children

A heartbreaking incident unfolded at Niagara Falls on Monday night, claiming the lives of a 33-year-old mother, Chaianti Means, and her two young children.

Means, a resident of Niagara Falls, intentionally jumped over the guardrail at Luna Island, plummeting nearly 200 feet into the falls.

The victims included Means’ nine-year-old son, Roman Rossman, and five-month-old baby, Mecca Means.

Authorities responded to the scene around 9 p.m. and confirmed the tragic outcome.

New York Park Police investigators have determined that the jump was “intentional in nature,” but the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.

The shocking incident has left the Niagara Falls community reeling, with many struggling to comprehend the unimaginable loss.

“This is a devastating tragedy that has shaken our community,” said a local resident. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones affected.”

As authorities continue to investigate, details surrounding the events leading up to the incident remain scarce.

The New York Park Police urged anyone with information to come forward.
