In a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja, Eche Abu-Obe, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized Nigeria’s concern over the attack and urged the authorities in Sudan to take immediate action to prevent future occurrences. The government also stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of the ambassador, his staff, and their families.
The statement further called on all parties involved in the ongoing conflict in Sudan to seek a peaceful resolution and work towards restoring peace and stability in the country.
