While Les Bleues see this match as preparation for the League of Nations in the spring and the 2025 UEFA Euro Women’s Championship in Switzerland, the Super Falcons will use it to build a fresh squad and test their readiness for the upcoming WAFCON. This will also mark only the seventh time France’s women’s team has played in the city of Angers.
