    The Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta (NNSSABK) 2001 Set Old Boys Association is set to host its inaugural Ex-Navy Boys Business Summit on October 19, 2024.

    Themed “Anchoring Success: Building a Strong Foundation for Business Ventures,” the summit aims to empower alumni and small business owners with essential tools for achieving business success.

    The association’s president, Adedunmade Onibokun, along with other Executive Committee members, announced the event at a press briefing in Lagos.

    He highlighted the importance of economic empowerment for former navy school alumni.

    The summit will be held at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, with both physical and virtual participation options available.

    “The Ex-Navy Boys Business Summit is a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship within the ex-navy community,” Onibokun said.

    He noted that the initiative is timely as more individuals seek to start or expand their businesses in a challenging economic environment.

    The summit will offer attendees critical skills in financial planning, risk management, and sustainable growth strategies.

    Participants will also gain insights into business innovation and creative problem-solving through focused sessions.

    Two key sessions will be featured: Building a Business-This session will address financial planning, risk management, and strategies for sustainable growth and Charting a Course Business Innovation-Attendees will explore innovative thinking, market trends, and creative solutions to business challenges.

    Additionally, the summit will include an exhibition where small businesses can showcase their products and services.

    Exhibitors will have the opportunity to promote their businesses to a targeted audience, potentially attracting new clients and partners.

    “The summit is more than just an event; it represents a movement towards economic empowerment for ex-navy boys and their families,” Onibokun added.

    The association hopes the event will stimulate local economic growth by encouraging entrepreneurship within the community.

    H said registration for the Ex-Navy Boys Business Summit is now open, and interested participants are encouraged to secure their spots early.
