LAGOS – The Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, has voiced his support for President Bola Tinubu, highlighting ongoing efforts to reclaim substantial funds misappropriated in previous administrations, notably during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.
During a recent event in Minna, Niger State, organized by the Office of the Minister of Information and National Orientation, the Emir, represented by Hadinin Minna, Alhaji Maikudi Achaza, defended Tinubu’s anti-corruption initiatives inherited from past governments.

The Emir stressed the importance of effective communication in local languages to ensure citizens are informed about the government’s actions and policies, particularly in addressing the recovery of stolen funds and recent policy changes like the fuel subsidy removal.
Additionally, stakeholders, including individuals with disabilities in Niger State, raised concerns about their exclusion from federal intervention programs during the event.
