    OAUSTECH appoints four new professors, 11 readers

    The governing council of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, has approved the appointment of four new professors and 11 readers at its 54th Regular Meeting held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 and 11 September, 2024 in the institution.

    The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa declared that “OAUSTECH is pleased to announce the appointment of distinguished academics to the positions of Professor and Reader. These esteemed scholars will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their respective departments, contributing significantly to academic excellence in the University.”

    The newly appointed professors are: Prof. D. T. Akomolafe (Department of Computer Science), Prof. A. J Ikuomola (Department of Computer Science), Prof. I. O Olaniyan (Department of Civil Engineering), Prof. T. Ajewole (Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

    Also, the following academics have been appointed as readers: Dr. D. O. Akinyele (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), Dr. O. O. Elemile (Civil Engineering), Dr. A. O. Oladimeji (Chemistry, Dr. E. E Nmema (Microbiology), Dr. V. O Akpoveta (Chemistry), Dr. H. Ayedun (Chemical Science), Dr. J. A. Ogunjobi (Forestry, Wildlife and Environmental Management), Dr. E.K. Asaniyan (Animal Production and Health), Dr. D. O. Adekeye (Social Philosophy), Dr. T. F. Ediagbonya, Chemistry, Dr. D.A. Opeyemi (Civil Engineering).

    The Vice-Chancellor stated that “These appointments demonstrate OAUSTECH’s commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to providing students with the best possible education,” as he congratulated the newly appointed professors and readers on their well-deserved appointments.
