“You can’t expect people to go hungry while you indulge,” Obi remarked.

Obi, speaking in an interview with News Central TV, emphasized the importance of the Federal Government utilizing its limited resources to address critical areas such as healthcare, education, poverty alleviation, and security.

“According to available data, Nigeria is home to 38 million individuals facing severe hunger, positioning us as the global capital of poverty. The primary crises stem from human insecurity and food insecurity. To combat these challenges effectively, investments in agriculture are crucial to tackle hunger, unemployment, and inflation,” stated Obi.

He hinted at the potential of forming a coalition with other opposition parties to rescue the Nigerian populace from hunger and the pervasive insecurity before the 2027 presidential election.
