LAGOS – The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Blessed Water Industry Worldwide Ltd, Chief (Dr) Mrs Victoria Omobolanle Oginni, has urged young business women to be honest and have fear of God in whatever they do.

Mrs Oginni, noted for pioneering table water business in Nigeria, who was speaking at a special service to mark her 70th birthday in Lagos, stressed that young business women should maintain their integrity.

She insisted that integrity and honesty would take every serious minded businessman or woman honest to greater heights in life beyond imagination.

Mrs Oginni who celebrated her birthday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Victory Chapel, Province 59, Magodo GRA in Lagos amidst praises, attributed her long life and successes in business to the grace of God.

She urged wealthy Nigerians to impact positively on the lives of others, especially the less privileged, adding that one should live selflessly and contribute to the society they live in.

Mrs Oginni asked: “What is the essence of having been blessed and not impacting on the lives of your people? Sharing the little I have gives me joy and happiness.”

The Senior Pastor of the RCCG, Victory Chapel, Pastor Benjamin Ajaiyeoba, in his message at the event, described Mrs Oginni as an icon, an ardent giver, so generous that she impacted on the lives of many people in and outside the church.

“God has created us to be a blessing to the world, but we cannot do it successfully until we abide in Christ. As the Lord said in John 5:15, ‘Without me, you can do nothing.”

Pastor Ajaiyeoba prayed that Mrs Oginni would flourish like a palm tree and grow like the cedar in Lebanon, adding that he would be officiating when she would celebrate her 100 years, declaring that she would live up to 120 years and be strong too.

Mrs Oginni’s first son, Dele Oginni, who spoke to Sunday Independent, said he was happy to see a huge turnout for his mother’s birthday despite the biting economic hardship in the country.
