A new movie produced by Inkblot Productions and FilmOne titled, ‘Palava’, was screened during the week at the Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX in Lekki, Lagos.
At the event, a co-founder of Inkblot Productions and co-writer of the movie, Chinaza Onuzo, noted that the movie was centered around family and loyalty with a comedy theme.
Revealing the company’s plan for 2023, she added, “We are very excited about next year. We will go back on set by January, 2023, and we hope that people will keep watching our movies. We have a lot of partnerships. For example, we will be working with Biodun Stephen to shoot a film in January.”
One of the actors in the movie and a former Big Brother Naija housemate, Neo Akpofure, noted that he was excited to be a part of the movie.
Other actors in the movie include Richard Mofe-Damijo, Mercy Aigbe, Linda Suleiman, Gideon Okeke, Beverly Naya, Beverly Osu, Jemima Osunde, Omawumi Megbele, Neo Akpofure, Eniola Badmus, Segun Arinze, Buchi Ojieh and Chinedu Ikedieze.
It was directed by Niyi Akinmolayan from a script written by Anee Icha and Chinaza Onuzo.
Inkblot Productions’ co-founders— Onuzo, Demola Ademola and Zulumoke Oyibo— were the producers.
