Peter Obi wins more than half of votes cast in Rivers capital

Peter Obi, the candidate of Labour Party has won more than half of the total votes cast in Port Harcourt city local government, the capital of Rivers State in Saturday’s presidential election.
Obi polled with 62,451 votes in Port Harcourt to beat Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 7,203 votes to come second in the city.
Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress, APC polled 5,562 votes to come third in the garden city.
