Bauchi: Honourable Jafaru Gambo Leko Dull, the member representing Bogoro, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa federal constituency in Bauchi State on Tuesday inaugurated an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Center, Billyami Othman Multipurpose Hall,
a Farm Center and Medical outreach in Bogoro, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa local government areas of Bauchi State.
The lawmaker also flagged off the foundation laying ceremony for six blocks of classrooms in Bununu
Speaking during the inauguration in Bauchi, Mr. Leko said that the initiatives are the fulfillment of his campaign promises and empowerment programmes for the people of his constituency.
“These programmes are aimed at equipping the youths with the necessary skills for economic independence. Free eye care services have also been provided to over 500 constituents in partnership with Albasar International Foundation Nigeria”
“We have also enhanced agricultural productivity and sustainability through farm inputs. The Information Communication Center (ICT) is for bridging the digital divide in the constituency where 200 youths will be trained yearly”

“We are supporting Fulani Herdsmen with 1000 potassium units to boost the health of livestock. On medical outreach, we are providing comprehensive healthcare services for the constituency and will conduct surgeries for people of the constituency as well as distribute 3,000 eyeglasses d to address vision impairments”
“We have also distributed mattresses oxygen cylinders and hospital equipment to general hospitals in Bununu, Bogoro, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa, to improve healthcare services. On rural water supply, we have Improved access to clean water in the rural areas of the constituents,” he said
Also Speaking, Alhaji Hassan Tilde, State Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) commended the lawmaker for all the interventions for the people of the constituency, saying that he has demonstrated an all-inclusive representation to foster more growth and development for the people.
“As a first-term member of the House of Representatives, Leko has demonstrated his dedication to enhancing the lives of his constituents. His efforts align with his campaign promises, focusing on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment”
