Security: Chief of Air Staff Abubakar commends personnel in Benin

Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has commended the personnel of the 107 Air Maritime Group (AMG), Nigerian Air Force, Benin, for their contributions and outstanding initiatives aimed at ensuring a secured Nigeria.
He gave the commendation on Tuesday during an operational and oversight visit, where he inspected infrastructure within and outside the Unit.
Abubakar who noted that infrastructure was critical to the operations of the Nigerian Air Force, pledged his commitment to ensure that they are all completed.
He used the occasion to inaugurate a Unit Photo Stand and also planted a tree in support of the 1000 trees-planting campaign of the 107 AMG.
He described the tree-planting initiative as “a welcome development that will help conserve our environment and improve healthy living that will make our job more effective and efficient.”
The Chief of Air Staff, was accompanied on his first official visit since assumption of office in 2023, by Branch Chiefs, Directors and other senior officers from Nigerian Air Force headquarters.
He was received by the Commander, 107, Air Maritime Group, Benin, Group Captain Eze Victor Onu, who briefed him on activities of the Unit before proceeding to inspect the infrastructure and the Aircraft Hangar.
