The event, which is organised by a creative solutions company, Livespot360, began last Sunday, December 11, 2022.
In the course of the week, the event had hosted a line-up of activities, including workshops, panels, exhibitions, film hubs, and music weekend.
On Wednesday, December 14, an actor, Denola Grey, moderated a session where they discussed fashion in regard to entertainers.
In the same vein, a popular dancer, Kaffy, held a session with aspiring dancers, where she shared key strategies on how to thrive as a dancer.
The founder of Livespot360, Deola Art-Alade stated that the aim of the event was to attract investment to the sector. She said, “The goal has always been to drive interest and investment in the African entertainment industry. That was what inspired our journey, and the platforms we have created along the way. We are taking it a step further with the entertainment week event.”
Another highlight of the week was a commemorative concert celebrating Mavin Records 10-year anniversary. It featured Mavin acts such as Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, Crayon and Rema.
