Oladapo Ogundipe, the father of 26-year-old British-Nigerian lady, Alanis Ogundipe, who jumped into the path of a moving train on May 29, 2023, has urged the United Kingdom authority to investigate the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death.
“Miss Ogundipe deliberately placed herself in the path of a train that was travelling through the railway station at high speed with the intention and effect of ending her life. There was no opportunity for the train driver to prevent the collision between the train and Miss Ogundipe,” the report said.
However, her father said other evidence from eyewitnesses stated that the woman killed by the train on that fateful day was a 40-year-old Asian woman.
Speaking to The Guardian in Ikeja, Lagos yesterday, Ogundipe asked the UK police to prosecute her boyfriend who allegedly broke into her phone to steal her information and blackmail her.
Ogundipe alleged that his daughter and her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Leggetts, met in June 2022, and by the first week of August of that year, he had given her herpes.
