Nottingham Forest has notably excluded Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis from their 2024-25 season roster, casting uncertainty over his future at the club, Soccernet.ng reports.
Dennis, who has spent recent months away from the City Ground, joined Basaksehir on a short – term loan in September and later moved to Watford on loan in January.
This decision by Nottingham Forest, under the guidance of Nuno Espírito Santo, comes despite Dennis having two years remaining on his contract.
Reports suggest that the club is willing to offload Dennis, alongside three other players, at a reduced price—despite his initial €16 million transfer fee.

The Nigeria international seemed to have earned a spot in Espírito Santo’s plans, starting in the club’s first two pre-season matches.
However, the Pacy forward has since been absent from the squad in the last six games, raising questions about his role at the City Ground.
With the official squad list released and the former FC Koln forward not included, Nottingham Forest is reportedly keen to move him on, aiming to create space within the squad.
According to Nottingham Post, Dennis now faces the challenge of securing a new club as he is evidently not part of Espírito Santo’s strategy for the season.
