The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, FCT Command, has accused a man named Joseph Efe (30) of taking a woman to a hotel in Abuja with the intention of using her for ritual, according to information received by the FCT Police Command.
This was revealed in a statement made on Monday in Abuja by SP Josephine Adeh, the command’s spokesman.

According to Adeh, the suspect was taken into custody on September 17 in connection with the suspected kidnapping, robbery, and attempted murder of a 25-year-old woman from Abia State named Olivia Ijeoma Chukwuemeka.
Police say the suspect forcefully locked the woman up in a room at the Top View Hotel in Wuse, supposedly for ritualistic reasons. This is supported by a widely circulated video of the victim being taped and gagged.
“While discreet investigation into the matter has commenced, the FCT police command wishes to reaffirm its commitment to collaborate with other relevant security agencies in the effort against crime and criminality within the Federal Capital Territory,” the statement said.
