    The 8th edition of Tech Innovation Awards 2024 was a thrilling event that honoured key Information Communication Technology (ICT) industry stakeholders in the country. Held at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, it was a night to remember as the industry leaders, innovators and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate excellence in the sector.

    The event organised by InstinctWave highlighted the resilience and determination that drive the industry forward through the appreciation of the key players.

    In his opening remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of InstinctWave, Mr. Akin Naphtal, welcomed the attendees and emphasized the significance of the event.

    According to him, “Tonight, we come together not only to celebrate achievement and innovation in the IT sector but also to acknowledge the tremendous resilience and determination that keeps this industry at the forefront of transformation and growth.

    While commending the awardees for their tireless efforts and groundbreaking solutions, Naphtal however emphasized that the awards are based on merit, recognizing those who have shown proven results, demonstrated impactful transformation, and led by example.

    He commended the awardees and expressed the hope that their achievements would continue to inspire others in the tech world and beyond.

    Others are Datamellon- Best Cloud Consultant of the Year; Digital Realty- Datacentre Provider of the Year; Fabric by inq- Cloud Product of the Year; HIQOS- Technology System Integrator of the Year: CreditSwitch-Best Customer Centric VAS Brand of the Year; Zoho One- Best Unified Cloud Software Product of the Year; Vertiv- Datacenter Infrastructure Provider of the Year; (CreditSwitch) SwitchTo931-  Emerging Digital Lifestyle Platform of the Year; Inq- MVNO Provider of the Year; MTN Foundation- Foundation Team of the Year; IHS-Telecom Infrastructure Team of the Year; Ecobank – eProcess- Best Bank in Cloud Adoption, and Telecom Marketing Personality of the Year.

    On personalities category, Martina Ogbebor emerged as the Head of Marketing, inq; Lola Fafore, Huawei- Deputy Director Public Affairs & Communications Dept- Telecom PR Personality of the Year; Wale Adedeji, CEO, Datamellon- Cloud Personality of the Year; Dr. Krish Ranganath, Regional Executive – West Africa, Africa Data Centre- Data Centre Personality of the Year; Odunayo Sanya, Executive Director, MTN Foundation- Corporate Social Investment Personality of the Year; Kehinde Ogundare, Country Manager, Zoho- IT Personality of the Year; Akeem Ogunkoya, CEO, IMBIL- Telecom Personality of the Year; Ike Nnamani, Chief Executive Officer, Digital Realty- Data Center Leader of the Year; Dr. Olubayo Adekanmbi, CEO, Data Science Nigeria- AI Person of the Year, and Ayotunde Coker, CEO, Open Access Data Centres- Technology Person of the Year.
