Innovative technology brand, TECNO, has opened a new centre tagged ‘TECNO Exclusive New Planet’ in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
The commissioning of the centre which took place recently is aimed at making Lokoja an exclusive business for TECNO brand and make it more visible in Lokoja city.
Speaking at the groundbreaking event, the brand’s Northern Region Exclusive Supervisor covering Abuja, Kaduna and Kano, Kalu Chenedu, the opening of TECNO Exclusive New Planet is to attract more people to the centre for better visibility and access.
According to Chinedu, “We are here to officially open TECNO Exclusive Planet. Our aim is to make Lokoja an exclusive business centre for TECNO to enhance more visible in the city.
“This is the only exclusive centre we have for now, and it is of highest standard in Lokoja. We are targeting more audience in Lokoja for them to know that we have not only a regular shop, but we have an exclusive shop that is of highest standard where all TECNO businesses are together.
“We have so many things in this Planet- phones, storage accessories, cameras, our styles, our designs and the things imbued in our phones that make them more unique than other brands’ phones.”

On his part, David Cletus, TECNO Marketing Manager, Lokoja region, said the brand’s target is to make every home in the city and Nigeria as a whole have access to TECNO products.
“What we have commissioned here today is not all, because we are still having more plans to expand and to also, not just bringing our mobile phones for the people.
“We will also make impact to the people of Lokoja in terms of telecommunication, so that anything they are doing, they will always know that TECNO remains the number one. And in each and every house, even in Lokoja, TECNO will take over.
“And our target is to also meet up to the global market, to be the best top three in the market,” Cletus said.
Augustine Anoke, Chief Executive Officer of the New Planet and Managing Director of TECNO Exclusive Store, commended TECNO for the feat of establishing an exclusive store in the city.
“I am so excited because we have been longing for this unique facility for a long time. But we thank God that today, it has become a reality. The TECNO Exclusive Store has come to stay.
“My expectation is that a lot of customers will be coming here to patronize our products which are of high quality and very affordable. With this store, I believe we are going to be making more sales and make TECNO proud,” he explained.
TECNO Exclusive Store is managed by the brand itself and it is well-equipped with TECNO’s standards which will hopefully make customers feel confident to rely on its products.
