The Executive Director of The Hive Network Africa, Mr. Alex Adams, has charged African youths to harness the immense power inherent in them to transform the entire continent.
Adams stated this at the opening ceremony of the 8th Annual Campus Training Tour 2024, tagged Activate – Vision to Venture.
The tour which kicked off at the University of Benin, targets young entrepreneurs, inspiring them to turn their ideas into thriving ventures.
According to Adams, Africa of our dream would be possible when the youths are equipped with the proper skills.
“The potential that lies within the African youth is immeasurable. They can transform the entire continent, only if we help them harness that immense power. Achieving the Africa of our dreams is possible if the youths are well equipped,” he said.
Other speakers, including the DG, John Odigie-Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA), Precious Ajoonu, Kevwe Modupe, (Chairman, TSLNigeria), and Asemota Izoduwa, (Executive Director, Edo Innovates), shared actionable insights to help participants grow and lead successful businesses.
At the University of Ilorin on 7 December, Dr Abigail Iyilade, (Assistant Director, ARMTI) and Kamaldeen Kehinde, (Managing Partner, MALHub), empowered students with valuable knowledge about business strategies and personal development.
The Hive Network Africa training was also conducted the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where it brought opportunities, knowledge, and connections to the participating young minds.
A standout feature of both events was the free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration offered to selected participants, enabling rising entrepreneurs to officially register their businesses and take a crucial step forward in their entrepreneurial journey.
The Hive Network Africa, a non-profit and non-political organization, is dedicated to fostering Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development for youths aged 15-35 across Africa.
With over 50 conferences and empowerment programs held, the network has impacted more than 14,500 individuals in 15 countries.
The Campus Training Tour serves as a vital platform for training youths to become effective social agents and pillars of their communities.
