Lagos-based founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has taken a swipe on leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) for contributing to the problems of the country.

Speaking in Lagos during the 30th anniversary of establishment of his prophetic ministration and presentation of the 30th Edition of his “Warnings to the Nations”, the spiritual leader said, “All these so-called pastors contributed to the problems facing this country.

“They go abroad preaching prosperity while scores of their members are in severe hunger and poverty. They can not confront witches. Most of them have turned prophecy to comedy.”

Then, the man of God dropped the bombshell: “I do not belong to Christian Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria because they are not spiritual entities. They run after money and they are always afraid to tell the truth when the need arises.”

He also recalled the initial rejection he experienced from other pastors and churches.

“When we started, they did not want to identify with us but glory be to Almighty God, our accurate predictions paved the way for us to meet presidents and prominent personalities all over the world,” the Primate enthused.

When asked for reasons behind his ceaseless philanthropic deeds, he said: “My greatest joy is in helping people, putting smiles on their faces and making people happy.”

On the call for establishment of state police in Nigeria, Primate Ayodele said “This will not be appropriate for the country because it will add to the trouble of insecurity.

Primate Ayodele also used the occasion to speak glowingly of his mentor and highly admired man of God, Primate Theophilus Oluwasanu Olabayo, founder of the Evangelical Church Of Yahweh.

According to him, Primate Olabayo is a great man of God and a blessing to mankind.
