On Thursday in Ibadan, the Police brought three individuals to court for allegedly breaking into houses and stealing.
The accused, Folake Jimoh, Hashiru Yerima, and Hassan Alidu, did not have their addresses disclosed. They face charges of conspiracy, stealing, and housebreaking.
They, however, pleaded not guilty to the accusations at the Iyaganku Magistrates Court.
The prosecutor, Insp Oladejo Balogun, informed the court that the defendants committed the crimes on September 18 at 5:30 p.m. in Ojoo, Ibadan.

Balogun stated that Jimoh unlawfully entered the residence of Mr. Abiodun Akinbiyi and stole items valued at N2,067,000, which comprised laptops, an electric iron, hot plates, and wristwatches.
The prosecutor further mentioned that Yerima and Alidu accepted the items with the knowledge that they were stolen.
He explained that the actions of the defendants violated Sections 517 and 411 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Mrs. Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair approved bail for the accused, setting it at one million Naira each, with two sureties each required to provide the same amount.
She adjourned the case until November 12, for a hearing.
