Alhaji Nma Kolo, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Niger State, has said the candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu will win the 2023 presidential election.
Kolo told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Thursday that “the emergence of Tinubu as the APC presidential flag-bearer for the 2023 general elections is a good omen for the party and the country”.
According to him, the unprecedented crowd in Minna and all the places visited shows that Asiwaju Tinubu is widely beloved and accepted within the country’s entire political spectrum.
“It also shows his level of deep interactions and acceptance not only within the ruling APC but across Nigeria.
He said: “This victory indicates that Tinubu as a candidate is good for Nigeria, as it will foster unity, love and understanding, among Nigerians.
“His electoral victory cut across all the six geopolitical zones; he had an impact in all the zones”.
Kolo noted that Tinubu’s extensive political experience and understanding of national politics would count for him.
Kolo urged the leadership and members of the APC to work in unison with a view to ensuring victory next year.
“We will sustain our house to house mobilisation to ensure the victory of our candidates in 2023 general election .
“We all should work together to take Nigeria to a higher pedestal by mobilising eligible candidates to massively vote our candidates at all levels.
“We will sustain our house-to-house campaigns in mobilising eligible voters to safeguard their PVCs for the overall success of our candidates in 2023.
“I am calling on APC members and supporters who had registered and not collected their PVC to do so immediately as it remains the only tools needed for winning all elective positions”, he said.
Kolo also urged Nigerians to intensify prayers for the peaceful conduct of the general elections and the development of the country.
“We should all seek divine intervention to enjoy peaceful atmosphere for a smooth electoral process.
“It is only through peaceful elections that the desire of Nigerians to have credible leaders to manage its resources for optimal growth would be possible,” he said.
He also called on politicians, especially those seeking elective positions, to play by the rules for Nigeria to have free, fair and credible elections in 2023.(NAN)
