President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Federal Executive Council have scrapped the Federal Ministry of Sports Development and announced the return of the Nigeria Sports Commission.
The news was broken on Wednesday afternoon via the verified X handle Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy.
According to the information contained in the tweet, the National Sports Commission will take over the role of the Ministry of Sports.
He also disclosed that the decision was taken after the Federal Executive Council which was held in Abuja yestersday.
