The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has unveiled the schedule for the 2024 NBBF Men’s Premier Basketball League season, set to be an action-packed competition featuring the nation’s top basketball teams.
The league will see 16 teams divided into two conferences—Savannah and Atlantic—competing for a spot in the prestigious Final 8.
The Savannah Conference is scheduled to take place in Jos, Plateau State, from October 25 to November 3, while the Atlantic Conference will run concurrently in Benin City, Edo State.

In the Savannah Conference, participating teams include Nigeria Customs Basketball (Abuja), Nile University Basketball Club (Abuja), Kano Pillars Basketball Club (Kano), Bauchi Nets Basketball (Bauchi), Plateau Peaks Basketball Club (Jos), Gboko City Chiefs Basketball Club (Gboko), Gombe Bulls Basketball Club (Gombe), and Correctional Basketball Club (Abuja).
The Atlantic Conference will feature defending champions Rivers Hoopers Basketball Club (Port Harcourt), Lagos Legends Basketball Club (Lagos), Police Batons Basketball Club (Lagos), Delta Force Basketball Club (Asaba), Kwara Falcons Basketball Club (Ilorin), Comets Basketball Club (Lagos), Hoops Reads Basketball Club (Lagos), and Oluyole Warriors Basketball Club (Ibadan).
Following the group phase, the top four teams from each conference will advance to the Final 8, slated for November 13-19. The venue for the Final 8 will be disclosed soon, but expectations are high for a thrilling showdown.
The champion of the 2024 NBBF Men’s Premier Basketball League will earn the honor of representing Nigeria at the 2025 Basketball Africa League, adding an extra layer of excitement to this year’s tournament.
