Dr. Stella Immanuel, a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, has announced a 40-day prayer initiative for the United States ahead of the upcoming presidential election, declaring that the battle for America is spiritual and intense.

In a message shared on Telegram, Immanuel claimed that the Democratic Party has a “demonic agenda,” accusing them of seeking to harm children through abortion.

Immanuel, who is also a pastor, first gained widespread attention in July 2020 for her controversial promotion of hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and the antibacterial drug Zithromax as cures for COVID-19.

She also previously prophesied that Trump would win the 2020 presidential election, a prediction that did not come to pass.

In her recent post, Immanuel announced: “40 days with God! 24/7 prayer for the election. Starting September 25th at Bethel Ranch, just outside Houston, Texas.”

She urged Christians to join in the round-the-clock prayer effort. “We are calling on Christians to sacrifice their time and join us in continuous prayer for the election. The battle for America is spiritual and fierce, so we must fight back in the spirit.”

Immanuel went on to claim that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) engaged in a “demonic blood sacrifice” during their convention, alleging that a Planned Parenthood truck outside the venue “killed about 30 babies.”

She described this as part of a larger effort to advance a sinister agenda, adding, “It’s time for Christians to counter this with prayer and fasting.”

She connected the 40-day prayer initiative to significant biblical events, stating, “40 is the number of government and ministry. The Lord Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness. Moses spent 40 days on the mountain for the Ten Commandments. Elijah did 40 days to anoint those tasked with taking down Jezebel.”

Immanuel concluded with a Bible verse: “Matthew 16:24: Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
