Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has announced that peace is returning to regions in the state previously known for insecurity. He highlighted areas such as Birnin Gwari, Kajuru, Kachia, and the Kaduna-Abuja highway, which had been notorious for incidents of banditry and kidnapping.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Rural Development, Shehu Aminu, at a town hall meeting in Kaduna on Thursday, the governor emphasized that progress has been made in improving security, thanks to the efforts of the Nigerian armed forces.
The town hall meeting focused on raising awareness about President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope 11-point agenda and how it aligns with Kaduna State’s development plans.

According to Governor Sani, while there may still be occasional reports of criminal activity in some local areas, the state government is working closely with the military to eliminate the remaining pockets of banditry and terrorism.
“We have seen a significant reduction in banditry, kidnapping, and other security threats. The government will continue to collaborate with the armed forces to ensure peace and security for all,” he said.
Sani also noted that the state is fully committed to aligning its projects and programs with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming to promote development and stability across Kaduna State.
