Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has assured fans that he will return to action immediately after the international break.
The 25-year-old forward, who sustained an injury during Galatasaray’s 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa, is aiming to be back on the pitch for the team’s next league match against Antalyaspor on October 19.
This news comes as a relief to Galatasaray supporters, who were initially worried that Osimhen’s injury could keep him sidelined until November. The striker was diagnosed with a muscle strain, sparking concerns about a long absence.

Osimhen’s injury happened shortly after he scored two goals in the match, forcing his substitution at halftime. The club quickly announced that he had started treatment. As a result, the injury also ruled him out of Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya, with early predictions suggesting he could miss up to six weeks.
When asked about his recovery timeline by Turkish journalist Caner Isbegendiren, Osimhen confidently responded, “After the international break.”
Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September, Osimhen has made an impressive impact, scoring two goals and providing four assists in just four appearances across all competitions. His return is eagerly awaited as Galatasaray looks to strengthen their lead in the Turkish Super Lig and defend their title.
In addition to his strong start, Osimhen was recently honored with the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Week award, receiving 77.96% of the votes for his outstanding goal against Kasimpasa. His quick recovery and return will be vital to Galatasaray’s continued success this season.
