As students across the nation gear up for the new school year, Viva Detergent, a product of Aspira Nigeria Limited, a leading brand in household cleaning products, is stepping forward to make a difference with its latest initiative, the “Viva Clean Clothes, Clean Hearts” campaign.

This groundbreaking effort combines the importance of physical cleanliness with the equally vital message of emotional and mental well-being among school children.

At the heart of this campaign is a powerful documentary that sheds light on the harsh realities of bullying many students face. The documentary captures the voices and experiences of children who have bravely shared their stories, highlighting the deep emotional scars that bullying can leave behind. It’s a raw and honest portrayal of struggles that often go unnoticed but resonate with many.

“At Aspira, a clean heart is just as important as clean clothes. We envision a world where children feel confident in their clean clothes, safe and supported in their school environments,” said Lynda Aguocha, Head of Advertising and PR for Aspira Nigeria.

“With the ‘Viva Clean Clothes, Clean Hearts’ campaign, we’re committed to driving change by addressing the critical issue of bullying and fostering a culture of kindness and respect.”

The campaign doesn’t stop at the documentary. As schools reopen in September, Viva Detergent took this initiative directly to schools nationwide to provide  1,000  anti-bullying-themed back-to-school kits, including Socks, stationery, school bags, water bottles, notebooks, Viva detergent, bar soap, and dishwashing products.

In collaboration with educators and the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, the brand conducted debate and public speaking competitions at Ojota Junior Grammar School for students across Educational District II, Ojodu Junior Grammar School, for students across Educational District VI and Wesley College of the Hearing Impaired aimed at creating safer and more inclusive spaces for all students.

Speaking on the campaign’s impact, Chief Marketing Officer Santhosh Nair emphasised the brand’s commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young Nigerians. “By empowering students to stand up against bullying, we foster a culture of kindness and inclusivity in our schools,” he said.

Through this campaign, Viva Detergent is not only reinforcing its commitment to delivering products that ensure cleanliness but also extending its care to the hearts and minds of the next generation. The “Viva Clean Clothes, Clean Hearts” campaign is more than just a call to action—it’s a movement toward a kinder, more compassionate world, one school at a time.
