Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh expressed that ending her marriage with Olakunle Churchill was the best decision she has ever made.
She shared this insight while discussing advice she provided to another single mother who contacted her via Instagram DM.
The single mother inquired about coping after her ex-partner left her and their child.
Tonto Dikeh clarified that she was the one who decided to leave the marriage for the well-being of herself and her child, not the other way around.
Dikeh wrote: “First and foremost, I was the one who chose to walk away from my marriage, not the other way around. I needed to escape a difficult situation, not just for my own sake, but for my child as well. Best decision I ever made.”
She advised the woman that she holds the ability to transform into the person she dreams of becoming as long as she dedicates herself to personal growth and self-investment.

Posting the message on her Instagram, Dikeh wrote, “Dear single mothers, I don’t have a manual for these things. I am neither a pro in this movement.
“My biggest teacher has been love. I just let God do his thing, and his thing is enough for me. Draw strength from God, most especially keep your family matters private.”
Recall that Tonto Dikeh’s marriage to Churchill ended in 2017 due to accusations of infidelity and domestic abuse.
Their marriage resulted in a son.
Despite their separation, they continue to engage in public disputes on social media, with Tonto accusing him of neglecting their child.
In defense, Churchill claimed that it was the actress who prevented him from seeing their son.
