He made this statement on Tuesday in Oziokutu, located in the Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, during the opening of the Chief of Army Staff Special Intervention Civil-Military Cooperation Project at the Model Primary Healthcare Centre.

He emphasized that the military’s goal is not only to eliminate threats from these criminal elements but also to support communities in achieving lasting peace. He urged Nigerians to join the army in its efforts to combat these common enemies and address security issues nationwide.

Lagbaja also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his ongoing support and guidance to the Nigerian Army. He reassured the public of the loyalty of the army to the President and the Constitution of Nigeria. Under his leadership, Lagbaja stated that the army would continue to work on both direct military actions and community-focused strategies, collaborating with other security agencies.

During the event, he highlighted the importance of the newly opened Model Primary Healthcare Centre in strengthening ties between the military and local communities. “Our work is centered around the people, and it is crucial for us to gain their trust and support,” he explained.

The centre aims to serve as a platform for the Nigerian Army to engage with the people of Ebira land and the Adavi community, seeking their support and cooperation as they fulfill their responsibilities, especially in Kogi State.
