The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a club bouncer, Kingsley Otti, for allegedly stabbing a suspected hoodlum to death at a lounge on Ago Palace Way in the Okota area of the state. <\/p>\n

The command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement obtained by PUNCH Online on Wednesday, stated that the incident occurred on Monday at about 3:30 am. <\/p>\n

According to him, Otti attacked the deceased during an altercation between them in the club\u2019s car park. <\/p>\n

He noted that the victim became unconscious and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries he sustained during the attack. <\/p>\n

The statement read, \u201cOn Monday, at about 11:30 am, the manager of a club and lounge, located at Ago Palace Way, Ago-Okota, reported to the Ago-Okota Division that on the same day at about 3:30 am, a yet-to-be-identified adult male, suspected to be a hoodlum, was allegedly stabbed by the club\u2019s bouncer, one Kingsley Oti, during an altercation between them at the club\u2019s car park. <\/p>\n

In the process, he became unconscious. <\/p>\n

He was rescued and rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Mushin, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.\u201d <\/p>\n

Hundeyin added that the scene was visited by a team of detectives from the division, who also visited the hospital where the corpse was inspected and photographs were taken. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe corpse has been removed and deposited at the Mainland General Hospital Morgue, Yaba, for autopsy,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n
