‘You’ll become landlord of Aso Rock in 2027,’ APC members tell Kwankwaso as they join NNPP

Some members of the All Progressives Congress, APC has assured the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso that he will take over at the Aso Rock presidential villa in 2027.
The APC members, said to be 963 in all from from the Dala Local Government Area of Kano spoke after being welcomed into NNPP by Kwankwaso on Thursday in Kano.
Speaking at the event, the spokesperson of the decampees and the chairman of APC in Dala Local Government, Alhaji Sabiu Bala Maialawayyo, thanked Kwankwaso for welcoming them into NNPP.
He promised to work hard for the continuous progress and development of NNPP.
He described Kwankwaso as a good leader and promised that they will follow him wherever he goes, insisting that Kwankwaso shall become, “the landlord in Aso Rock come 2027.”
Speaking earlier, Kwakwaso declared that it is only his party that can remedy the hardship currently faced by Nigerians.
The NNPP presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, on Thursday, urged Nigerians to pitch their tent with his party so as to overcome the biting hardship and what he described as “maladministration” of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
The former Governor of Kano state who renewed his intention to re-contest the presidential election in 2027 boasted that his party has everything it takes to bring about the desired change Nigerians need.

According to him, even though Nigerians are facing serious hardship due to what he described as bad leadership by the APC-led government at the federal level, Kano state is making a difference by the Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf-led NNPP government which is recording uncommon achievements in both infrastructural and human development.
He said: “I thank the people of Kano, including the women and youths for their continued support to our great party, the NNPP. Today is a historic day as over 963 members of APC led by the party chairman joined our great party.
” We are happy that people have now seen the light. We are happy that people have realized the truth, and they have joined us.
” We are happy that Dala is now fully Kwankwasiyya because all the who-is-who in politics there have joined NNPP.
“They have now realized their mistakes, and we are welcoming them with open hands since they have found solace in NNPP.”
Kwankwaso insisted that, “APC has lost focus, as Nigerians suffer unemployment, inflation caused by subsidy removal.
” This is the time for change. I am calling on our people in Kano, and all over the northern Nigeria, and indeed, all Nigerians to have a rethink.
“This is the time for us to take our destinies into our own hands. I call on you all to join NNPP for a better Nigeria.”
