Vice-President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday described Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State as an outstanding and an exceptional leader.
Shettima said this while showering the praises on Zulum who succeeded him as the governor of Borno State in 2019.
Shettima who spoke at his private residence in Maiduguri shortly after landing from Abuja for the Christmas and New Year break also praised Zulum for ‘making Borno great again’
The vice-president also thanked Zulum for honouring him in many ways by naming some of his special projects after his name.
Shettima said that the Zulum-led administration had made the residents proud for delivering a number of developmental projects amidst the challenges of insurgency in the state.
He said that the elders and political class would continue to appreciate Zulum for not letting them down and making Borno the centre of attraction before the national and international communities.
Shettima also extolled the governor’s leadership qualities, especially in maintaining a cordial relationship with his predecessor.

He, therefore, urged the political stakeholders to continue to provide the needed support and cooperation to their administration as it were.
